Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10, 1986) was a model and actress from India that mainly played in Hindi films. Ayesha Takia began her acting career with Taarzan The Wonder Car (2004) was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award. Later appearances in the film included Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) and Socha Na Tha (2010). She first appeared in the commercial of Complan. Shahid Kapoor and she were in the iconic advertisement "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". Also, she was in the remix for Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin. The fame of her was boosted by the success of Indian remixes. The singer began getting offers to star in Bollywood movies. Takia was late in her release of Taarzan The Wonder Car, which had originally been planned for Socha Na Tha. However, production problems caused delays in its release. Ayesha demonstrated her courage when she criticised her father-in her law Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party MP Abu Azmi on the punishment of rape victim. In a PETA commercial, she announced that she was vegan. She appeared in the 2006 listing of the top women of India.
